| Comprehensive Hygiene Therapy At Daniel Daniel dentistry , we are committed to providing you the opportunity to achieve optimal dental health. A critical part of that is creating and maintaining healthy gums and bones in an effort to prevent a loss of teeth as a result of disease. We are unique in that we have a comprehensive approach to all of your dental visits. This means that ALL hygiene related services are included in every appointment. Each visit with our hygienist will include any and all services deemed necessary to perform: soft tissue charting, probing, scaling, root planning, stain removal, prophy cup polish, fluoride, desensitization, check-up annually + required radiographs. How often you need the hygiene maintenance will be determined by your personalized balance point. This balance point is specific to each client to try and determine the point at which the tissue/gums do not bleed. Bleeding is the indicator for active disease. If disease is present then there is a strong potential for gum and bone loss. Every client will be given all of the tools and instruction in order to maintain good oral health at home.
